At Short Pump Animal Hospital, our Glen Allen veterinarian team sees your pet's health and wellness as a top priority. If you live in Glen Allen or any of the surrounding communities and have been looking for a veterinarian you can trust with all your pet's needs, including grooming, you've come to the right place. We see all types of pets, ranging from your "typical" cats and dogs to exotics and everything in between! We also provide a wide range of veterinary services, including routine preventative care, surgical procedures, dental care, and much more. Ultimately, we strive to be the area's one-stop shop for all their pet's needs throughout all stages of life.
Short Pump Animal Hospital is a full-service hospital that provides routine and emergency care. Our two veterinarians, Dr. Christine Morlino and Dr. Honora "Nonie" Reger are known for their compassion and the quality care they provide. Dr. Morlino has been in practice since she completed her veterinary medicine degree in 1997, while Dr. Reger has been serving the surrounding areas of Richmond for the last several years. Both were born and raised in Virginia and, of course, are pet owners and pet lovers themselves.
In addition to our two experienced and compassionate veterinarians, we also have some great veterinary technicians, assistants, and receptionists on our staff ready to help you and your pet have a pleasant experience while you're here. We strive to maintain a welcoming, stress-free environment not just for pets, but for their owners and children as well.
Our veterinary team shares some important beliefs that guide our everyday interactions with pets in our office. For starters, we strongly believe that we exist to be of service to others, and that often extends beyond the scope of any business. We also strive to provide unrivaled care and compassion to all pets and their owners; we understand that pets are like family, and so we treat each and every pet that comes through our doors like one of our own.
We also believe that honesty and respect are key to establishing and maintaining relationships with our clients; we'll always take the time to listen to your concerns as a pet owner, to take your concerns seriously, and to always respect differing views.
Our entire staff works together as a team to provide your pet with the best care possible, and we're committed to reflecting our core values in the service we provide every single day to every single pet.
